After School Lead Teacher

After School Care Teacher/Youth Facilitator

Journey to Healing is seeking passionate Afterschool Care Teachers to support trauma-informed, healing-centered programming for youth ages 2–13 in Detroit.

Clinical Therapist

  • We are looking for Master’s level LMSW, LPC, LMFT, Ph.D. Psychologists and Limited Licensed MSW and MFTs who have experience doing marital/couples therapy and child therapy to join a growing group practice in  Detroit, MI.

  • This is a fee split, contractual position, both full-time and part-time available.

  • This is a Hybrid position, meaning both in-person and online.

Clinical Youth Facilitator

  • We are looking for Licensed Educators, Social Workers (Bachelor/Master/LLMSW), Marriage Family therapists ( LLMFT) and licensed Counselors (LLPC/LPC), Criminal Justice, and Psychology.

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (psychology, social work, counseling, education) or equivalent experience. 

  • Availability to work an hour between the hours of 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm at least 2 days- Monday through Thursday. 

  • Four(4) hours minimum a week commitment

  • Able to work at different locations in the Wayne Metro/ Detroit Metro areas

  • Experience working with youth in education, counseling, mentoring

Clinical Therapist - Remote

  • We are looking for Master’s level LMSW, LPC, LMFT, Ph.D. Psychologists and Limited Licensed MSW and MFTs who have experience doing marital/couples therapy and child therapy to join a growing group practice in  Detroit, MI. 

  • This is a fee split, contractual position, both full-time and part-time available. 

  • This is a Virtual – Remote position.

Lead Teacher – Summer Discovery Program

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Teaching certification required.

 

  • Experience: At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably with middle school students. Strong background in math and reading instruction is required. Prior experience in special education is a plus.

 

  • Certifications: Valid teaching certification (State or National) required.
