Yoga
Grief, an emotional burden held within, can weigh us down over time. Yoga serves as a gentle method to gradually release this emotional tension, preventing it from overwhelming us all at once. Through yoga, the mind finds solace, offering mental self-help tools alongside physical activity, a vital combination for releasing built-up stress and anxiety.
Getting Enough Sleep
Getting enough sleep during a grief cycle can be challenging, given a filled with thoughts about loss. For starters, to foster better sleep, create a conducive environment having calming colors, utilize blackout curtains, and consider essential oils or a white noise machine. Mood music can enhance the ambiance. If sleep remains elusive, seeking comfort by cuddling with a loved one, be it a spouse or pet, has proven to provide a sense of security and comfort.
