Skills-Based Volunteering

Have a talent, profession, or skill you would like to share with young people? Skills-based volunteers can donate their time or services by leading an activity, teaching a new skill, providing a workshop, or creating a hands-on learning experience for youth.

This could include art, music, dance, fitness, wellness, financial literacy, career exploration, entrepreneurship, STEAM, robotics, cooking, photography, technology, life skills, and more.

If you have something meaningful to share with our youth, we would love to hear from you.

Why Volunteer With Us?

Volunteers help Journey to Healing reach more  youth, adults and families in our communities while creating meaningful experiences that feel supportive, welcoming, and connected.

Whether you are helping at a community event, preparing gifts for a family, supporting a youth activity, sharing a skill, or helping connect someone to resources, your time helps extend the work we are able to do across our communities.

By volunteering with Journey to Healing, you help us:

Every volunteer plays a part in helping us create stronger, more supported communities. Sometimes that impact is seen in a large event, and sometimes it is as simple as helping one child feel included, one family feel supported, or one community feel cared for.

Our Volunteers in Action

Our volunteers help bring our programs and community events to life. Explore moments from Holiday Giveback, youth programs, resource fairs, summer activities, donation distribution, and other community events.
