Grief is a deeply personal journey, and no one should have to navigate it alone. Our Grief Support Groups provide a psychologically safe space where individuals and families can process loss, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and work toward emotional healing after traumatic events. We understand that grief comes in many forms, whether it’s the loss of a loved one, a major life transition, or any personal hardship that brings emotional pain.

Through a combination of artistic expression, psycho-education, and guided discussions, we create an empathetic and supportive environment where participants can learn about the grieving process, share their experiences, and develop practical strategies for healing. Here are the many benefits of involving ourselves in Wellness Check-in sessions:

1. Wellness Check-ins can reduce stress and anxiety as you get a chance to express how you’re feeling. According to research, recognizing your emotions helps promote calmer feelings in you.

2.Wellness Check-ins on emotions normalize discussing your feelings which is an essential component for feeling your best self. You can make talking about your feelings a normal part of your routine by doing a daily check-in.

3 .Self-awareness   is built once you engage in daily wellness check-ins. Self-awareness is a foundational social-emotional skill that helps us understand how we’re feeling, why, and what we need to be at our best. By making a daily check-in a routine each day,  these skills are fostered especially for kids and teenagers. Adults need wellness check-ins to deal with daily life demands.

4. Wellness Check-ins can serve as a proactive problem-solving tool. A daily check-in is actually a proactive tool that supports problem-solving skills. We offer family wellness check-ins ideally so you check in with your children about how they are feeling ahead of time and understand the challenges they are dealing with. This gives you and the child a chance to problem-solve through those challenges (rather than waiting for an emotional outburst later on).
