Therapy & Clinical Services
Support for Where You Are. Care for Where You’re Going.
Life can become heavy in ways that are difficult to navigate alone. You may be dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, major life changes, parenting stress, or simply feeling like something is not quite right.
At Journey to Healing, we provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Our clinicians work with you to understand what you are experiencing, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build practical coping skills, and create a treatment plan that supports your individual goals.
Whether you are seeking therapy for the first time or returning to care, you do not have to have everything figured out before you reach out.
How We Can Support You

- Behavioral and emotional concerns in children and adolescents
Don’t see what you’re experiencing listed? Reach out to our team and we can help determine whether our services are a good fit for your needs.
Our Therapy Services
Individual Therapy
A private, supportive space to better understand yourself, work through difficult experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and make progress toward the changes that matter to you.
Individual therapy is available for children, adolescents, and adults.
Child & Adolescent Therapy
Children and teens experience stress, grief, trauma, anxiety, family changes, school pressures, and emotional challenges differently than adults.
Our clinicians create developmentally appropriate spaces where young people can express themselves, learn emotional and coping skills, and receive support while parents and caregivers remain appropriately involved in the treatment process.
Family Therapy
Family therapy helps families better understand patterns that may be contributing to conflict, disconnection, or stress.
Sessions may focus on communication, emotional understanding, boundaries, parenting, conflict resolution, major family transitions, and strengthening relationships.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy provides space to address communication difficulties, recurring conflict, trust concerns, emotional disconnection, major transitions, and other relationship challenges.
The goal is not simply to stop arguing. Therapy helps partners better understand themselves, each other, and the patterns shaping their relationship.
Grief & Loss Support
Grief can affect emotions, relationships, physical well-being, routines, identity, and the way we experience everyday life.
We provide grief-focused therapy for children, adults, and families navigating death, significant loss, and major life changes.
Group Therapy
Group therapy provides a supportive space to connect with others who may be navigating similar experiences while learning practical skills for healing and growth.
Groups may focus on areas such as grief and loss, anxiety, emotional regulation, trauma recovery, coping skills, relationships, parenting, and other shared concerns. Depending on the group, clinicians may incorporate evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, psychoeducation, mindfulness, and skill-building activities.
Group offerings may vary throughout the year based on community need and availability.
Our Clinical Approach
We believe effective therapy should be both compassionate and clinically grounded.
Our clinicians use evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches based on each client’s needs rather than applying the same method to everyone.
Approaches may include:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Helps clients identify connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing healthier ways to respond to difficult situations.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Builds practical skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and healthier relationships.
Trauma-Informed Therapy
Recognizes how difficult or overwhelming experiences can influence emotions, relationships, behaviors, and the nervous system.
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
An evidence-based approach designed specifically to support children and adolescents impacted by trauma.
Person-Centered Therapy
Creates a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship where clients can explore their experiences without judgment.
Family Systems Approaches
Looks at patterns within relationships and family systems rather than viewing one person as the entire problem.
Mindfulness, Somatic & Coping-Based Interventions
May be incorporated to help clients increase awareness, manage stress responses, regulate emotions, and reconnect with the present moment.
Your therapist will talk with you about the approaches that may be most appropriate for your treatment.

Looking for Counseling at a Reduced Cost?
Getting support should not feel out of reach because of cost.
Journey to Healing may offer reduced-cost counseling with graduate-level clinical interns who are completing supervised training in counseling, social work, psychology, or related mental health fields.
Our interns work under the guidance of qualified licensed professionals and receive ongoing supervision, case consultation, and support throughout their placement. You will always be informed when you are working with an intern and who is overseeing your care.
This option may be a good fit if you are looking for support with stress, anxiety, grief, life changes, relationships, family concerns, emotional regulation, or simply needing a safe place to talk and work through what you are carrying.
Before services begin, our team will complete a brief screening to make sure an intern is an appropriate fit for your needs. If you need a different level of care, we will help guide you toward the right clinical support.
You Don't Have to Know Exactly What You Need
Sometimes people know they need support but aren’t sure what kind of therapy, therapist, or service is right for them.
That’s okay.
Start by telling us what has been going on. Our clinical team can help determine the next appropriate step and whether Journey to Healing is the right fit for your needs.
